How long does it take to receive Portofino: Driver Loafers?

Every VELVORY pair is made to order. Crafting takes 6 to 7 days at our Tirupathur workshop, and shipping takes a further 3 to 5 days, so most orders arrive within 9 to 12 days. Express shipping is free on prepaid orders across India.

What leather is Portofino: Driver Loafers made from?

The upper is natural full grain cow leather sourced from LWG-certified tanneries. The lining and insole are also natural leather, and the outsole is virgin thermoplastic rubber. Full grain is the top layer of the hide with the grain intact, which is why it develops a patina rather than peeling like corrected or bonded leather.

What size should I order?

VELVORY uses standard India and UK sizing on boots, loafers and sandals, and EU sizing on formal shoes. If you fall between sizes, order the larger size. Every order includes one free size exchange within 7 days of delivery.

Can I return or exchange this if it does not fit?

Yes. VELVORY offers a 7-day return and exchange window from the date of delivery, including one free size exchange. Pairs must be unworn apart from trying them on indoors.

Where is Portofino: Driver Loafers made?

It is handcrafted by skilled artisans at VELVORY's own workshop in Tirupathur, Tamil Nadu, one of India's oldest leather-working clusters. Pairs are cut, stitched and burnished by hand rather than produced in bulk.

Crafted With Premium Leather Excellence

These driving loafers for men are made from exceptionally soft leather in a deep burgundy, unlined so the material sits directly against the foot. The pebbled sole is moulded up and around the heel in the traditional driving construction, finished cleanly by hand.

Relaxed, Considered Design

The unlined build gives these loafers a suppleness that few shoes achieve, folding and flexing with the foot from the first wearing. Burgundy lends the silhouette a quiet distinction without ever tipping into flamboyance.

Exceptional Comfort and Flexibility

Without a lining to stiffen the upper, these loafers mould rapidly to the shape of the foot and remain light throughout the day. The pebbled rubber sole cushions each step and grips gently underfoot.

Elevated Weekend Appeal

Pair them with chinos, linen, or cropped denim, worn with bare ankles or the finest of socks. Perfect for weekends, travel, and warm evenings, these loafers are the most relaxed shoe in the collection.

To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care. Simple maintenance practices, such as gentle washing and proper storage, can effectively preserve the longevity of your favorites. We encourage you to refer to the care instructions included with each item, designed to help you keep your purchase in top condition.

Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.

To find your perfect VELVORY size:

Measure your foot length in centimetres (CM) from heel to the tip of your longest toe, standing and in the evening.
Match your larger foot's measurement to our size chart for the correct size.
Order your true size for a snug-but-comfortable fit—the leather will mold perfectly to your foot within 2-4 weeks.
If you are between sizes or have extra-wide feet, choose the next larger size for added comfort with socks.
