It started with disappointment.

A ₹7,000 “premium” pair of shoes that cracked in just three months - lifeless leather, synthetic shine, and hollow promises.

That day, I realised what most of us never question: we’ve forgotten what real craftsmanship feels like.

In search of something genuine, I found a workshop with a couple of craftsmen, leather pieces on the table, and hands that told stories of decades of craft.

One of those artisans made me a pair of shoes. They weren’t "branded". They weren’t marketed. But they lasted me five years comfortable, elegant, and full of soul.

That contrast between a ₹7,000 “luxury” disappointment and a handmade masterpiece that refused to die -changed everything.

That’s when VELVORY was born.
